Our Mission and Vision

She Stands Tall® is dedicated to uplifting women and non-binary entrepreneurs by providing essential resources and a supportive network. Our mission is to foster an inclusive environment where diverse voices are amplified, and innovative ideas are nurtured. Since taking the helm of Milwaukee’s Women Entrepreneurship Week, we have expanded our reach and impact, offering a wide range of programming that addresses the unique challenges faced by our community. Through strategic partnerships and a commitment to diversity, we aim to create a thriving ecosystem where all entrepreneurs can succeed.

Our Story

She Stands Tall Forward, Inc. grew out of the community She Stands Tall® built starting in 2017 to empower, connect, and support women entrepreneurs. As the community expanded through events, collaborations, and shared learning, She Stands Tall’s leaders recognized the need to expand from community to movement with an aligned public mission. As a result, we started She Stands Tall Forward, Inc., a 501(c)(3) non-profit organization, in 2025 to expand She Stands Tall’s impact, power, and reach.
