Come explore key components of an effective website! In this interactive presentation, we’ll dive into a fun and insightful website “roast,” walking through some real-life websites from brands both big and small to see what shines – and what falls short – while sharing best practices you can apply to your own website right away. We’ll cover key elements every site needs to have: everything from branding to messaging to your audience connection. Finally (if you’re feeling brave), we will open the floor to attendees to volunteer their own websites for a live review. You’ll get constructive feedback and actionable recommendations from two brand and messaging pros to take your website to the next level.

Milwaukee Central Library

On-Street Metered Parking

• Availability: Two-hour metered parking is available around the Central Library building from Sunday through Friday, 8 a.m. to 6 p.m.
• Note: Street parking can be limited, so it’s advisable to arrive early to secure a spot. 

Nearby Parking Lots

• Library Lot (801 W. Wisconsin Ave): Operated by Interstate Parking, this lot is directly across from the library and offers parking starting at $2.00 per day. Wells Fargo Lot (735 W. Wisconsin Ave): Also managed by Interstate Parking, this lot is in close proximity to the library. 
• MacArthur Square Parking Structure (841 N. James Lovell St): A city-owned parking structure near the Milwaukee Public Museum, accessible via James Lovell Street.

Public Transportation:

• Bus Routes: Several Milwaukee County Transit System (MCTS) bus routes serve the area. Use the MCTS website or app to plan your route.
