About Arielle Hawthorne

Arielle Hawthorne, co-owner of Twisted Plants, has been serving up plant-based comfort food in and around Milwaukee for 6 years. After battling with health issues which caused her to change her eating habits, Arielle noticed a lack of vegan options when dining out. This led to her and her husband Brandon opening a mobile food trailer. Their main objective was to make vegan food more accessible in the community. The plant-based burger concept has since grown into three brick-and-mortar locations as well as 2 additional mobile units. Twisted Plants has received several awards and recognitions including Best Vegan Restaurant and Best Minority-Owned Business which has solidified the company as staple in the city of Milwaukee.
