Athena Agoudemos serves as the Associate Director for the Wisconsin Small Business Development Center (SBDC) Network, providing strategic leadership for the statewide infrastructure that supports entrepreneurs across Wisconsin. She oversees systems and operations that ensure consistent, high-quality advising reaches business owners at every stage of growth, drawing on expertise in business planning, strategy, and finance to strengthen the SBDC’s collective impact.

In her role, Athena coordinates initiatives across Wisconsin’s SBDC centers, developing delivery models that support collaboration, advisor effectiveness, and measurable outcomes. She is a collaborative leader committed to expanding access to capital and improving financial literacy, with a focus on clarifying business financials so entrepreneurs can make informed, data-driven decisions that support sustainable growth.
Previously, Athena served as Center Director for the SBDC at UW–Milwaukee and held roles focused on microfinance and economic development. Earlier, she worked in the specialty coffee industry, grounding her collaborative, community-centered approach
