About Nikki Purvis
Ms. Nikki Purvis has over 20 years of public and private sector leadership experience and currently serves as president and chief executive officer of the African American Chamber of Commerce of Wisconsin, a non-profit membership organization that focuses on economic and business development. Prior to becoming President & CEO, Purvis spent 13 years as a public service employee for the City of Milwaukee. Her work spans from deploying $5 MM in federal funds to under-sourced businesses to implementing citywide racial equity efforts and assisting with national political convention planning.
Ms. Purvis and serves on the board of directors for the National Marquette University Alumni Association and Legacy Redevelopment Corporation and she is a member of the M3 Advisory Board. She is an alumna of Marquette University and Cardinal Stritch University. She was named one of MBJ’s 2025 Women of Influence, Wisconsin 275 and Madison 365’s Most Influential Black Leaders. Ms. Purvis is a Bader Leadership Institute Fellow and past participant of the African American Leadership Program.
