Vanessa D. Johnson has been a Registered Nurse for 20 years, with an emphasis on Reproductive Health & Wellness. She is the owner and lead wellness enthusiast at A Miracle Happened Wellness & Birth Services. A Miracle Happened Wellness is a full spectrum wellness organization that prioritizes community connections, advocacy, and access to stress reduction experiences across the lifespan.

Vanessa is also the founding Executive Director of Birthworkers United, a local non-profit that strives to close the gaps between the emotional and medical models of perinatal care through a multi-disciplinary practitioner approach and community outreach.

In her free time, Vanessa enjoys supporting local small businesses, traveling, and intentional pauses.
